Arcads vs Creatify: $11 a Video vs $1.65, and Why the Gap Is Smaller Than It Looks

Two AI UGC ad generators with a 6× price difference. The credit math behind each, the rejection rate that closes most of the gap, and which one suits which kind of advertiser.

Both generate UGC-style ad creative with AI actors. On headline price they are 6× apart, which makes the comparison look settled. It is not.

Arcads has no public pricing page — /pricing has been returning a 404 as of July 2026, and plan details appear only after you create an account. There is no free trial: you pay $110 before generating anything.

Cost per video, as advertised

Arcads: roughly 800 credits per minute per talking actor; a typical 30–60 second ad with one actor and captions runs about 880 credits, landing near $11 per finished video.

Creatify: a video render is roughly 2–20 credits depending on length, avatar and model; a standard 30-second ad is about 5 credits. At Pro's ~$0.33 per credit that is about $1.65 per ad.

Why the gap narrows

The number that decides your budget is cost per approved ad, not per render. Expect to discard a substantial share of outputs — reported figures for this category run 40–60%, and the standard advice is to budget two to three times your expected ad count.

Applied evenly the ratio holds, but the absolute numbers move: Creatify's $1.65 becomes roughly $3.30–5 per usable ad, Arcads' $11 becomes $22–33. Creatify Pro's ~300 credits is about 60 renders and roughly 25–30 ads you would actually run.

The gap is real — it is just not cheap versus expensive, it is two very different production volumes.

Where each earns its price

Arcads — actor cloning on the Pro tier is the differentiator. A consistent spokesperson across a campaign is genuinely hard to assemble otherwise, and for a brand building recognition that is worth paying for. The output is also aimed higher: it is sold to performance teams, not to solo sellers.

Creatify — the free tier is the most useful thing in this bracket. Ten credits, no card, about two real video ads. You can evaluate the actual output before spending, which almost nobody else in this category permits. The 300-actor library and 40 templates make it a permutation machine for hook testing.

Against raw model cost

Per-second prices read live from fal.ai on 2 August 2026:

JobEndpoint$/second30s ad
Talking presenter from a photoalibaba/happy-horse/v1.1/image-to-video$0.140$4.20
Audio-driven presenterfal-ai/bytedance/omnihuman/v1.5$0.160$4.80

Note what this does to the comparison: Creatify's packaged $1.65 is below raw model cost for a 30-second render, which reflects shorter effective clips and volume pricing. At that end of the market the packaged product is genuinely cheaper than assembling it yourself. Arcads at $11 sits well above the floor, and you are paying for the actor library and the polish.

Which

Creatify for most people: an actual free tier, an order of magnitude lower entry, and the volume you need for hook testing. Start here even if you end up elsewhere.

Arcads if you are running paid social at scale, need a cloned consistent spokesperson, and $110/month disappears into your ad spend. Below that volume you are buying capacity you will not use, with no trial to discover it first.

Neither is the tool for one video with your own face — that is per-clip generation rather than ad templating, and we price it from $0.99. For ten ad variants next week, both of these are shaped better than we are.
