How to make UGC ads without filming

A UGC ad is a person holding a product and saying a sentence, shot as if by the person themselves. This is a workflow rather than a single tool: you build the shot with Put yourself in a scene, then run the result through Re-voice for every market you sell in. Both halves are walked through in their own guides; this page is the order to do them in and the decisions between them.

Two tools, one after the other

  1. 1

Write the line before you open anything

The single sentence the creator says is the ad. Neither tool writes it for you and neither should — a generated read of a weak line is a weak ad rendered faster. Have the hook, the claim and the call to action decided first.

  2. 2

Build the shot with Put yourself in a scene

Upload your references under Your photos, then describe the shot under The scene in the register the placeholder uses: the action, the setting and the camera in one sentence. "Holding the bottle to camera in a bright kitchen, handheld, talking directly to the lens" is a brief; "aesthetic lifestyle vibe" is not.

  3. 3

Record the read, or take it from the shot you liked

Re-voice starts from a video that already has speech in it and keeps the speaker's own voice. So the read has to exist somewhere first — either in the clip you just made or in a recording you bring.

  4. 4

Localise with Re-voice, once per market

Upload the finished ad under Video, choose the market under Target language, tick the rights confirmation and press Generate. Each language is its own run and its own quote, so a five-market rollout is five deliberate presses rather than one opaque batch.

  5. 5

Collect the set from your Library

Every variant lands in your Library as a vertical MP4, ready for whichever ad account you are uploading to. Runs are processed in the background, so you can close the tab — the finished file turns up in your Library. We do not quote a fixed wall-clock time: it moves with the length of the run and with how busy the queue is.

What this does not do

  • It does not write your copy, pick your hook or test your angles. It removes the shoot, not the marketing.
  • It does not give you rights to a real creator's face. Use your own likeness or one you have written permission for.
  • It does not upload to an ad account. You download the files and place them yourself.
  • It does not make an unclear product claim compliant. Whatever the line says is on you in every market you translate it into.
FAQ

Common questions

Why two tools instead of one?
Because they are two different jobs. One builds a shot from photographs and a description; the other rewrites the language of a video that already exists. Chaining them is what turns a single ad into a set.
Do I need a different avatar for each market?
No. Re-voice keeps the speaker's voice and changes the language, so the same person fronts every variant — which is usually the point of a UGC set.
How many variants is sensible?
As many as you have markets, and no more. Each run is quoted and charged separately, so there is no volume discount hiding behind a bulk button and no reason to generate ahead of demand.
