HeyGen v2 Translate (Precision) is a lip-sync & dubbing model. Change what a video says — another language, or another take. Your video in another language — your own voice, lips back in sync. People run it for: dubbing, translation, voice clone, lip-sync.

5 credits for a 5 s clip. It bills per second of output at 1 credit a second, so a shorter clip costs proportionally less. Billing stops at 480 seconds, so one run never costs more than 480 credits. Credits are the only unit we quote. One balance covers every model in the catalogue, so there is no subscription attached to HeyGen v2 Translate (Precision) specifically and no minimum spend to use it. It accepts a video. It will not start without a video. Because this one is usually pointed at footage you did not shoot, a run asks you to confirm you have the rights to the material first.

Every run returns one video. A single run gives you up to 480 seconds. It produces the audio along with the picture. Speech is re-synced to the lips. It covers 29 languages, including English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian. Runs are queued and processed in the background, so you can close the tab — the finished file turns up in your library. We do not quote a fixed wall-clock time: it moves with the length of the run and with how busy the queue is.

The catalogue also runs HeyGen v3 Lipsync (Precision) (10 credits for a 5 s clip), sync-3 Lipsync (10 credits for a 5 s clip) and VEED Lipsync v2 (2 credits per run) for the same job. HeyGen v2 Translate (Precision) is our default pick for lip-sync & dubbing. VEED Lipsync v2 is the cheaper way to do it, at 2 credits. They all draw on one credit balance, so trying a second one costs nothing beyond the run itself.
